From reading the Code of Ethics, writing this annotation, and reflecting upon experiences in my internship (as noted in my evidence), I have come to realize that sometimes doing the ethical thing is difficult. Sometimes the answer isn’t always right in front of your face. It takes time and effort to make sure you are doing the ethical thing in some situations. The most important thing in ever circumstance is the safety and health of every single student. When you are a teacher, their needs come before yours, and it is very important to find a way to develop and maintain a safe, comfortable, respectful, and fair learning environment.
Receiving a positive PBA from your cooperating teacher was very beneficial to me. Sometimes I don’t think I realize all that I do until someone points it out to me. It has been that case here. I have learned so much about myself as a pre-professional teacher, and also about what I want to become from this PBA and writing this annotation. There are so many aspects of becoming a good teacher, and being an ethical one is of upmost importance to me. it is definitely hard work, but the more you practice, the easier it gets, and the better you become.
